Over the years, Coreas Hazells Inc has provided assistance to various educational institutions throughout the state. A move to continue this thrust was evident when the company recently opted to provide a scholarship to a student of the Brighton Methodist School.
A letter was received from the school, seeking assistance for students. Coreas Hazells Inc agreed to offer a scholarship to an outstanding student from that school who emerged from the 2016 CPEA exams with excellent grades.
The scholarship for a one-year period only will see the recipient, Sachi Gabriel, receiving $1200.00. She placed in the number two spot in terms of the school’s performance. The number one spot was awarded a scholarship from another organisation based in the USA.
Marketing Coordinator at Coreas Hazells Inc., Mr. Ezzie Roberts, visited the school, where he had the opportunity to hold discussions with the school’s Principal, Sachi’s Class Teacher, her Mother, Ms Gabriel and Sachi herself.
When asked about her thoughts on the exam, Sachi stated, “At times it appeared to be very easy but some of the areas were a bit more challenging”. Her mother, Ms. Winnifred Gabriel, expressed much gratitude as she stated, “I am quite happy that Coreas Hazells Inc has offered this scholarship and my daughter is the one receiving it”.
Principal of the school Mr. Samuel Holder was quite pleased with the assistance given by Coreas as he feels it is always important for students who perform well to be rewarded.
Sachi Gabriel will be enrolled at the Girls High School having placed 60th by her gender and 125th overall.
Coreas Hazells Inc takes this opportunity to congratulate all students who were successful in the 2016 CPEA examinations.
