Tracey Shuffler has been seconded to the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Caribbean Distribution Partners (CDP) from 1st August 2015 to 30th September 2016. Previously, Tracey was the Deputy Divisional General Manager (DGM) of the Import Distribution & Marketing Division of Goddard Enterprises Limited (GEL).
CDP is the jointly owned company of GEL and Agostini Ltd. of Trinidad and Tobago which will focus on the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector in Barbados, Trinidad, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Grenada and Guyana.
Tracey’s career with the Goddard Group spans eighteen years, during which time she worked in Sales and Marketing with Hanschell Inniss and Purity Bakeries; and was subsequently appointed General Manager of Goddard’s Shipping & Tours Ltd and West Indies Rum Distillery before she was appointed Deputy DGM in 2009. She was elected President of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry in May 2014.
Tracey was born and raised in Montreal, Canada to Barbadian parents and moved to Barbados after completing her education at McGill University where she earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a double major in Marketing and Organisational Behaviour. She later completed an MBA at Concordia University.
Tracey has served on a number of Boards within the Goddard Group and has participated in the development of the strategic direction of some of Goddard’s companies in Barbados, Grenada, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, St. Kitts and Antigua.
