GEL Pensioners Luncheon

18 Dec 2015

Pensioners, their Guests and Managers of the GEL Group enjoying the Luncheon

On December 6th 2015, Goddard Enterprises Limited hosted Pensioners to lunch at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre in Barbados.  It is always a wonderful time when Pensioners reconnect with their friends and catch up on what has been happening during the year.  Lunch, provided by Couture Caterers, was enjoyed in beautiful surroundings to the delightful background music provided by the team of Willie Kerr and Chris Harper of Notes to Note Inc.  Before the meal, Mrs. Natasha Small, Chief Financial Officer, gave an inspirational prayer of praise and thanksgiving.

Mr. Charles Herbert, Chairman of the Board, in his opening speech extended a warm welcome to everyone. Mr. Herbert acknowledged the efforts of past and present employees which have contributed to the success of the Goddard Group of companies.

Managing Director, Mr. Anthony Ali delivered the closing remarks and noted that the Group has an unbelievable reputation which has been earned by our forefathers who started the organisation and by the efforts of those present.  This has created our legacy and a wonderful organisation.  Mr. Ali thanked the Pensioners on behalf of the existing Management team, Board of Directors and shareholders for their contributions.  The speech was concluded with good wishes for the season.

The exquisite centre-pieces which were created by Mrs. Giselle Ward of Events and Décor by Giselle were raffled with one lucky Pensioner at each table receiving a unique decoration for Christmas.
