GCG Events Antigua was involved in catering at the recent test match played at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium between the WI and England from April 13th - 17th April catering to some 14 suites as well the players and match officials. In total, the company catered 4,686 meals over the five days of cricket and provided bar services to several suites.
The feedback from all clients who took the time to fill out the surveys (and most did) was very positive and complimentary. Clients spoke of the high quality of the food and its tastiness, and also expressed keen interest in continuing to use GCG Events as their caterer of choice, not only for cricket but for other functions.
GCG was honoured to cater to the suite for the legendary Sir Isaac Vivian Alexander Richards and his guests which included a number of high profile past and present cricketers. Sir Ian Botham, Sir Clive Lloyd and Courtney Walsh were some of the guests, just to name a few.
The staff of GCG Events Antigua performed their duties with great enthusiasm and was complimented on such, especially by the teams who really appreciated the extra attention given to their varying requests beyond what was required. A special thank you to all employees who worked extremely hard during those five days to ensure that the job got completed.
Indeed, cricket in Antigua and GCG Events have become synonymous with each other since cricket World Cup 2007 and this partnership continues to grow from strength to strength.
